We'd like to thank all of our readers and contributors for their support over the years and look forward to coming back bigger, better and stronger.

The threads of Eid
This year will be different
We will smile at one another
Through our hearts
Intertwined, threaded
Across miles and miles
Yet nearer still, our seeds
Have never been as steadfast
As the time we had to maneuver
For parking
Or parley for an extra boiled egg
Or be tested by ‘the talkers’ at khutbah
To rest from the crowd at the end of the day
Put away the ironed shawar kamiz
And glimmering khussa’s
With a contented sigh
This year will be different
We will drink our coffee, tea
On our own
Nibble on this or that
And remember to smile at one another
Through our hearts
Intertwined, threaded
As one
